A New Year Shouldn’t Have To Mean A New You

Welcome to 2017. May it be a year of great success and fulfillment in all areas of your life.

A lot of the time, especially during the Yuletide season, we begin to hear of things such as “New Year resolutions”, people pledging to be better, giving up a habit, starting something new and on and on.

It’s good to set goals, it’s good to want to change, but the truth is we don’t have to wait for a ‘New Year’ to do it. The only difference between December 31st 2016 and January 1st 2017, apart from the fact that they are different months, is the last digit in the date…January can act as a 13th month for all we know.

Our point is simple, we don’t have to wait for any ‘right moment’ or season to start the cycle of change. We ought to start now.

The presidency has started the “Change Begins With Me Campaign”, we want to start “Change Begins Now” campaign. It starts NOW, immediately.

As you drive your car, you’re going to stop at the red light, you’re going to wait at a Zebra Crossing if there are people waiting to cross. You’re going to renew your driver’s license the legal way. You’re going to own up for your next mistake. You’re not going to throw litter on the roads…You don’t have to wait till January 2018 to start to do all that.

Living a life of Accountability starts now…in your home, your community, your church, your office…let it start now!!!
