What We Should Copy From Terrorists

Dear Friend of RRHM,

Sounds strange doesn’t it, to say that there is anything to copy from terrorists. This is not to say that we condone their horrific acts. We condemn them!

Yet, remember whenever we hear news about a terrorist act, the group that carries it out is always quick to claim ‘responsibility’ for it? No delays, no debates, no room for guesses. They tell us straight up that they are the ones who did it.
Though their style of ‘owning’ up isn’t what we ought to copy, because their accountability process is devoid of facing the consequences.

What we want to stress is the swiftness with which they own up. Once you make a mistake, just own up. Don’t dawdle, don’t think too much about it. Admit it and move on to make things right again.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could all adapt this swift response to take responsibility for our actions?
The world will be a better place for it don’t you think?
